Bad drivers is on my list, except people who ding your car and just simply leave!

Found this ding on my truck while washing it last night. It's been rainy and dirty.. SMH. people suck!

Now I gotta figure out how to fix it.. I have an idea but it won't look the same after this.

I’ve got a couple of those. Actually they are very near each other on the passenger side towards the front of the bed. Only noticed them when I washed the truck. I’m actually, usually pretty diligent about checking my truck when I come back to it when parked somewhere. But even if I did catch them, I wouldn’t be able to prove that person did it. Just pisses me off. Someday when I get enough of them I will have paintless dent removal take care of it.

thing i don't like most about my Tundra is trying to find a place to park a truck, not an egg-car....the size of parking spots is pathetic...lets start a petition, lol

It is the cost of not walking.

You always have to remember that people suck.

If you park far enough away people wont park next to you.

If you park close everyone that doesn't give a shit about their car will park next to you.

I always notice things too, I examine my vehicles every time I noticed dings and curb marks on my wife's vehicles without even trying and she just shrugs and says I don't know how that happened.

I know people won't admit to dings, heck I try to squeeze in and out my vehicle if it's tight. I guess some people think and act differently.

I have parked in the middle of no where just to see someone park next to me when I come back out.. LOL that's like inviting someone to park next to me.

Honestly I don't know when this occurred, I usually try to park away from people too.

The ding is quite high, I think it has to be something big or bigger. No SUV small car can ding that high, it's like 4' up. I don't recall parking to any bigger vehicle.

And it’s at the front, strange. I usually park further away, when I can’t I look at the potential door arc of the neighboring cars, I wonder how many of us do that. I like Costco spots, nice and wide (what she said).

I had a neighbor who backed into my 71 lemans sport 2 door 3 times before I figured out who was denting my car.

the guy did not like me so he figured what the hell.
The police thought differently and he admitted to all 3 hits.
He got 3 tickets for hit and run.

he tried to claim I was parked illegally. The cop looked at my car on the correct side of the street and said bullshit.

all of this happened over a months time back in 86 IIRC.

I always park far away. But sometimes, depending on what you’re doing there is no option to park far away that keeps you away from everyone else. Sometimes at the store when I park really far away. Some a hole will park right next to me even though there are 50 other spots to choose from.

I have favorite parking spaces [like the ones on the end on the side of the building so I can gain some extra room away from the next space.

If the parking lot isn't very full, I take a space a long way from the door.

Or, sometimes, I take TWO spaces [straddling the dividing line between them].

    But yeah, it sucks.

I park very far, back corner usually one side next to a curb. I’ve been dinged too many times, even had someone rip off a corner of my front bumper once and leave it.

I'm being a smart ass... but I also try not to worry too much about things like this because ultimately, this is my farm truck and work truck for my family farm so it's going to get beat up...

I feel for you man! And parking far away doesn't seem to help. I could park at the farthest end of the lot, 500 spaces and 3 cars in the lot, at 8:50pm at a business that closes at 9, during a blizzard and some asshole in a piece of shit vehicle would park right next to me.

Hate this too. I try to park far away from other cars if possible. And then of course I come back and someone parked right next to me..

I try to find end spots as well when it's crowded, and I park as close to the curb as possible.

I don't go out much with the truck, I still can't remember where I parked to cause this.. *thinking**
