I had a 2014 1794 Tundra for four years and recently found rust on the bed sides just above the wheel wells on both sides and decided I didn't want to fight the rust. The previous owner had taken meticulous care of it and I continued with undercoating it every year but somehow the rust got in behind the wheel liners . With the encouragement of my gf I decided that I did deserve something nice and really wanted a Platinum Tundra, had to get the Blueprint cause I really like the color.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! That's one of my all time favorite Tundra colors.

    Welcome from South Central Tennessee.

Beauty of a brand new truck!

I hope to keep my truck from rusting. I live in the south where there is very little winter and thus no salt etc on the roads during our short winter.

I lived in the rust belt and my poor old Colorado sure showed that.

    Congratulations on your new truck!

Thanks! I was hoping that I was doing a good job of keeping the rust at bay but missed something. I could have tried to get it fixed but thought it would be a continual battle, figured I'd get the most I could from the truck now while it was still worth something.
