I have noticed that the oil pressure gauge increase's considerably while accelerating, but does go to the middle while not accelerating. This may be totally normal for this truck. I have never seen this in other vehicles that I have owned, as it normally stays pretty consistent.

I have check the oil level and it is spot on. Truck runs and drives perfect.

I get the idea that while under pressure from acceleration it would make sense that the pressure would go up, just not used to seeing it on the gauge that much.

    Normal operation for the Tundra's?

That appears to be normal.. The last time I freaked out, was when mine dropped to a 1/4 and came back up to the middle once I started moving. I was told that was normal, but I've never seen it done it before.

Normal, and all vehicle's do that though their gauge may not display it (like how coolant temperature gauges often dont move over a wide range of temperature). Engine rpm goes up, oil pump rpm goes up, oil pressure goes up.

I figured as much, but had never seen this or noticed it on other vehicles that I have or have had. I am still feeling this truck out and getting use to the little/major differences between this and others that I have had.

It makes perfect sense. When the engine is revving higher the oil pump spins faster, so oil more oil is being pushed to the various engine parts.
