We started driving & oil pressure suddenly dropped. Our truck has never had issues. It has over 100thousand miles on it.

First and foremost, do not run the engine at all! Check to see if there is a break in the wiring at the Pressure Sensor or maybe it's a bad sensor.

when you say it dropped... what were you doing as you were driving... coasting, accelerating, braking?

first thing to do is check the oil level. then post back.
