I upgraded from a Tacoma to a 2013 Toyota Tundra a couple of years ago. Ive noticed that After every oil change I have had done (Toyota dealer, local mechanic, chain place) it leaks oil and I have to bring it back in for them to fix it. Is there a reason that this happens every single time the oil is changed no matter who does it? I’m getting pretty frustrated with this.

Do they remove the skid plate when changing the filter? I bet they don't and they just let the oil drain on it. Mine was a greasy mess when I removed it.

drain plug is probably not tightened all the way.. When I purchased my 2zz I noticed a small pool of oil dripping while sitting in storage from somewhere... went crazy looking for the leak, cleaned all of it, until I figured it out, the drain plug was slightly loose and dripping slowly...

Stop letting the dealer change your oil. Problem solved.

All kidding aside, I agree with @bleach , they are not pulling the skid.

@Wallygator couldn't agree more.... main reason I stopped taking mine in looong ago.. besides the hefty price and the 3 hour wait
