Oil filter question.

    HID lights, Duratracs, Bilstein 5100's, 2" Spacer, Sumo springs.
    I did an oil change and I noticed my new oem oil filters don't have any end caps.

    These are the filters that I purchased and installed.

    This is what I replaced. Notice the oil filter has the rubber caps at the end of the filter.
    Will this matter? I'd assume Toyota would make them without the end caps for a reason.

    Don't worry about it. The OEM are designed to work fine the way they are. I don't see the point of gluing the ends as k&n did. Stick with OEM, they're less expensive too.
