    Anybody know if the oil filter housing tool is the same on my 2020 Tundra as a 2019 Tacoma ? Havnt had time to crawl under and pull the pans yet to have a look.

    Ok, can't help you. My Tacomas had top mounted cannister filters. Look up the part on Cool Springs Toyota. Maybe try the Tacoma forum. They have a better maintenance section.

    ‘08 TRD doublecab
    Toyota uses the same 14 flute 64mm cap style on all their cartridge oil filters that I am aware of, 2.0 to 5.7L. Your existing tool should fit fine. I’ll admit I haven’t been under a ‘20, but it would be very un-Toyotalike to change that.

    I’d also recommend the filter drain tool if you don’t like messes. Like the one in this kit:
