Oil filter housing tool

Anybody know if the oil filter housing tool is the same on my 2020 Tundra as a 2019 Tacoma ? Havnt had time to crawl under and pull the pans yet to have a look.

 

3.5L V6, virtually certain (Venza, Sienna, Rav4, Highlander, Camry, Avalon). 2.7L Four, not so certain. You can always postpone oil change day, and order another tool if necessary.

Ok, can't help you. My Tacomas had top mounted cannister filters. Look up the part on Cool Springs Toyota. Maybe try the Tacoma forum. They have a better maintenance section.

 

Toyota uses the same 14 flute 64mm cap style on all their cartridge oil filters that I am aware of, 2.0 to 5.7L. Your existing tool should fit fine. I’ll admit I haven’t been under a ‘20, but it would be very un-Toyotalike to change that.

I’d also recommend the filter drain tool if you don’t like messes. Like the one in this kit:
