My Tundra story. Test drove the big 3 because 'merica, right. Ram, Ford and Chevrolet (x3) really wanted to like the chevy but the interior and seats were uncomfortable and felt cramped. The Ram was a 2020, liked the coil suspension and interior updates, drove great but wasn't obsessed with the exterior design. Plus I had major mechanical issues from my 2016 Ram, gut feelings of poor quality. Ford, no. Wife even said no lol.

In October of 2020 I test drove a 2021 magnetic gray sport similar to the one I have now with a few more dealer added accessories. Found my truck, solid and dependable. Financially decided against it at the time and stalked a 2018 used one for about a month before going to look at it. Price dropped and I was on my way. Bought it with no trade keeping my paid off '13 Toyota Tacoma, dealership delivered the truck a few days later - fantastic dealership experience. Toyota unveiled the 2022 and I decided it really wasn't for me for various reasons but wanted a new truck with the current platform, like I originally planned. Found the '21 with everything I wanted and walked away feeling good about the deal. Took delivery Nov. 5 2021.
