Got my CMC today and went ahead and put my wheels and tires on. Hopefully my suspension here next week. Tires are BFG KO2 35×12.50r17, wheels Icon Six Speed 17×8.5 +25. Stock suspension for now Cab Mount Chop and front bumper liner removed and trimmed bumper also front rear mud flaps removed. Plenty of clearance no rubbing normal driving and backing out. Haven't off-road yet like this. But lift will be on before next off pavement trip. Hopefully this helps any body wondering what fits stock.

Just traded this in for a 2015 CM Platinum but thought I would help with some more info.
Fuel Throttle 18"x9" -12 offset. Goodyear Duratrac's 295/65r18. 3 inch front lift and 2 inch rear. Front inside fender liner rubbed bad so had to take lower part out. Found out I could have moved it forward after the tire shop cut it to hell. I wish more companies made a 285/70r18 as I didn't love the lower profile look, wanted more sidewall.
Went with 3/2 lift on my 2015 with +1 offset. 20" wheels 9" wide. 275/65r20 BF KO2's. Will post pics this week once finished.

Great information i am just finding on this site. Very very helpful but i have jumped ahead of myself.
I brought some fuel rims used (maverick) i think from another tundra owner who just changed styles he said.
Saw a few pics of them on a 08 like mine. Super excited yesterday to finally get the time and weather to put
them on prior to a road trip pull out my driveway and rub???? WTW :annoyed::annoyed:
So we made the trip, parked it, went out this morning to see whats going on it touches on the left side a little.
Pics to come tires are Toyo A/T Open Country Lt 275/ 65/20. She has a leveling kit. Maybe i have to trim fender walls? Any suggestions?
I see guys trim bumper take that plastic out but right now i am searching for a solution so all input welcome.

Need to order my rims tomorrow I want an aggressive stance and the option to add fender flares with out the tires being tucked under. Truck is a 2016 crew Max I have a max trac 2.5/1 on it. I would like to put 295/70-18s on it the wheels I'm looking at are 18x9 should I get +12 or +25 offset ?

the first and easiest thing you can do is remove that little front flap. 2 screws and it is out. after that, it becomes a little more work. there is a mod to move the bumper out about 1/2". or you can take a heat gun to the plastic where it is rubbing and push it away from the tire. you can also cut the plastic. I think others have been able to unscrew the plastic and redrill it so that it sits 1/2" farther in. all of this is documented on this site.

    good luck :)

Anyone have an issue with rubbing after leveling? I have a 2.5 level with Stock TRD rims and the stock size 275s, I upgraded to the LTs over the P-rated for weight requirements. I get a rubbing noise at full lock/slow speed in drive. Cannot see where the tire is rubbing. Note: I have not had the truck aligned yet, there is a pretty negative angle on the front wheels.

Finally added some new tires after installing the Toytec Boss kit. I already had the skid plate trimmed and the front liner pushed in from my previous setup so all I had to do was remove the back mud flaps. I have clearance on the body mount.

Newbie here, looking at cheapo replacement rims for my 06 Tundra LTD quadcab riding on 17" tires. Looking at eBay, see lots of deals on rims that I *think* will fit according the the specs listed on this thread. But I could use advice from guys that know better than me whether these rims will fit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-Toyota-4...ash=item3f7ddac47a:g:SkgAAOSwXeJYEoDH&vxp=mtr.

The fitment guide on Ebay says no, but the specs (as I understand them) indicate 'yes'.

Check out @Spolar he is selling his 17" icon wheels. Check the wheels and tires marketplace for the post. Those wheels definitely fit and look bad ass

I'm shopping for wheels and I am digesting all this information.. So anxious.. lol My 2017 Double cab has stock 18 inch rims as is already known.. I am searching for anyone with experience in dropping to a 17 inch rim. I'm going do the Bilstein 6112 shock leveling method. Will this 18" to 17" cause any issues? Thanks in advance for guidance ..

Methods, Icons, and the Rock Warrior rims will fit without issue. Not sure on other brands.

What he said. Just make sure they put the weights on the inside lip or as close to outside lip or the weights will get torn off by the front calipers. I know from experience haha.

All of the above and use a heat gun and a piece of 2x4 to stretch it forward and you'll get a lot more clearance. Looks like you'll need as much as possible. Its best not to cut out the liner. It keeps the mud out and protects your foglights and stuff from rocks. Looks cleaner to.

So I found these rims just up from me and I'm heading there next week to pick them up, I should say planning. At any rate the owner brought up a good point for me and maybe I should seek out the right forum to discuss this.. But My SR5 4x4 has a tow package, which includes the 4:30 gear ratio and rear suspension & assorted other mods for hauling. How do I tell if it also includes the big brake upgrade?
