    The SGU guys recommend Kenwood... and Kenwood won't bait the FCC. But I currently have 3 x boefang handhelds (much cheaper for how seldom we use them and how deep our SoCal Conga line usually runs).

    Yeah. Doing anything is always more funner than writing about it.

    Behind-the-scenes info: it for alignment yesterday and was told it needed bushings and a new rack & pinion. Lots of quick juggling and an Uber ride to move trucks around, got to work on time last night...

    So instead of sleeping my hopes-for allotment today, I've been texting, calling, and coordinating (the Financer's job). My trusted many years mechanic checked and assured me I was getting worked on the R&P but it does need new bushings. So those and completion of the alignment will happen tomorrow :fingerscrossed: ... while I sleep (I hope). :annoyed: Bruce and I just worked out our weekend punch list.

    Anyway, I was up 1.5 hours today before checking in here, probably a record! And anyway, I have responsibilities; these SoCal Shenanigans don't just happen. Shenanigans require participation and instigation.
