Dropped the youngest off at preschool, then hit the local grocery store to get a card for the wife. They have a liquor isle and I saw this. It’s ok to buy whiskey at 8:30 AM if it’s made with coffee, right?0A1069CD-737B-4C65-A30D-3F1F584C48B7.jpg

    Start-up Complete:
4 Miles of 20" pipe to customers site, #800 psi Steam at 750*F. Line was down for 10 days, 0 psi down to 68*F. We have to bring it up slowly.

    Things of concern:
-The line is 40 years old.
-2 over head crossings at Neighbors entrances
    -3 Underground road crossing
    -1 Underground Railroad crossing
-2 Canal crossings; one above water and one below.
-Countless numbers of supports and vent/drain valves.

Should stay in service until customer's next outage in about 5 years.
This is one of our companies most lucrative contracts. Very high profile. Everything went pretty smooth except for some delays.

This line / service was the longest of its kind for many years. Heard we got bested a while back.

Had my Whataburger Bacon/egg/cheese Taquito, now about ready for bed.

It's ok if he touches you; just don't get shot by the arrow. Big difference.

    Day is done!!!!!!

District was on location today but they left me alone, pre inventory walk, odd thing is they were still there when I left, behind closed door, had been for hours....probably nothing but who knows.

Now what to freaking do this weekend, looks like the weather might be pretty decent, no rain, high 50s low 60s, Hmmmmm might need to fire up the egg for a long slow cook...

Used to work for RGIS inventory, Home Depot’s sucked, but I think I hated the inventory clearance stores more, around here they are called Ocean State Job Lot

Its challenging that's for sure. This is the first year I am not counting moulding, dear god that's a chore, two types, sold by the piece, those are easy, then there is the sold by the foot bastards, dear god I would go insane counting that shit. Pull each sku from its location one sku at a time, measure each piece, bundle then tag, rinse and repeat. The two bays with the qtr round, screen moulding etc would take a entire shift...
I am on vacation this year for inventory, its driving my ops manager nuts LOL....
