Is there ever a time when halogen off road lights are better than LED? Does halogen cut through fog better? I have collected a variety of off road lighting over the years; some of which are still new in their packaging. I am curious if I should mount a few halogen spot lights on the front of my truck on either side of my LED light bar? Any benefit?

No, LED is a much better light in all ways, better output, less power needed, lasts longer.

Only time I can think of is if your timing traveling to the early 2000s or before and don't want to stick out.
