Hey Guys!!! So I'm lookin for some feedback. I have 130K on the clock on the my 2015 SR5 CM TSS. It still has stock suspension and I'm wondering how long do you think it'll hold up?

I ask because I'm also do for Tires. I was considering getting a leveling kit to go with larger tires BUT, if there's not all the much life left in the stock suspension, I might as well go and get a 4" suspension lift 1st and then get me so bigger sneakers to put on it.... But if the suspension can easily go another 50K, then maybe just a level and lift it next time I need tires...

    What say you????

Here's a pic since I just detailed it and it looks good :)

Should be fine for a long while unless repetitive excessive speed bumps and off roading over years and years

I would not put a spacer lift on a 100+k mile suspension. In my experience the factory shocks start degrading around 60-80k miles, less depending on usage. So at the least with 130k on the clock you would benefit from new shocks, certain of that unless they have already been replaced. And if you are replacing shocks, may as well do a coilover with the lift you want.

depends which shocks you have, the black one is junk, the yellow is an OK junk, red one is marketing junk, only the fox is good.

Naaaa... I Work from home (Computer programer) and it's used 99% as a secondary vehicle... and it's mostly on-road... even when I do get off road, it's mostly groomed trails. I do pull a trailer about 5 times a year, but it's only loaded with a couple of Motorcycles, nothing crazy.

130k, shocks are done, ball joints are also starting to become a concern. I'd be getting busy on suspension upgrades. Only problem, right now there is a whole bunch of shortages, so make sure you have everything before you start. Do lots of homework and remember the small details like rear brake line relocate kit, front bump stop extensions, sway bar drop kit, diff drop kit, Carrier bearing drop, etc. Since you also tow and discuss a 4" lift I would also use traction bars to control axle wrap under the load in order to preserve pinion angle and u joints.

I was in the same boat three years ago (with a different truck). I bought new tires before finding out an axle seal had started leaking and a front coil spring broke at the bottom mount.
My two cents: take 20 minutes and have a really good look underneath. Inspect each corner thoroughly, look for leaks or anything out of the ordinary. Next one is weird but tape measure your tire-to-wheel-arch gap for each corner. Make sure the fronts match each other, same for the rear. Had I known the amount of work I would have made a different plan.

The Fox shocks weren't available on in the OP's model year, and they don't have a Pro.

If you're just looking for an excuse to upgrade, look no further. You absolutely need to fully replace your suspension, it is dangerous to drive it one more mile on that stock suspension.

    You're welcome.
