Hey boys, I am itching to grab a set of these for my truck but was looking for feedback regarding the build quality and durability of each. I am a fan of the low profile / minimal branding look for running boards, so it’s between OE stealth steps and RB10s (powder coat).

I know a lot of guys are a fan of GR, but I have concerns with the coating standing up to heavy use. The powder coat on my OE Predators is already scraping off after less than a year. And the stealth bars seem less popular, the reviews on the iron cross patriots (same product) are mixed in terms of quality control.

If anybody who has been running either of these steps on their build for a while could chime in and let me know how they’ve been holding up so far it would be much appreciated!

Here’s a link to the specific step boards for reference: https://www.sparksparts.com/p-stealth-step-boards-powdered-coated-black-0001634133

One thing to consider is the RB10 will install very close to the body with almost no gap at all and look a lot cleaner. The Toyota model you linked will hang down about an inch by the looks of the photo.

Good point, thanks for the feedback! Are you running the RB10s? How they holding up?

I'm not but there's a ton of people here running the Rb20 and I haven't seen any issues.

It appears that the Iron Crosses are SS and the RB’s are Galvanized Steel.
