Does anyone know or have you installed the stock 400w inverter with 120v outlets in the back seat console and bed? If so, do you have part#'s? Does it plug into an existing harness? I have an SR5 and thinking of an upgrade.

Yesterday I installed the USB port one and noticed that the inverter line is plugged into the blank cover. So its an easy install if you want it. Sparks sells it for 40ish plus 28 to ship to me. The local dealer wanted 58 plus tax for it. I passed on it since I can use the USBs. Unfortunately I deleted the pic off my phone of that part number.
Old retired couple we hardly have anyone in the backseat so I really didn't need the USBs. But saw someone else had done it recently and decided to buy it.
Just pull off the rear cup holders and you'll be able to see it with a flashlight.

True. Probably has been discussed on here somewhere. Hopefully the OP got the answers he/she needed.

    What’s wrong with stock?
This seems to be a major and expensive undertaking. You have to take into account the following:

    1. The on/off switch at bottom left of dash.
    2. The outlet on the back of the center console.
    3. The outlet in the bed, rear passengers side.
    4. The inverter under rear seat.
    5. New plastic molding that would have to be replaced under the rear sear where the inverter is housed. You loose storage space.
    6. Any and all wiring necessary that is not already there.

From what I recall this unit provides 400w when engine power is on, but when you turn it off, it drops to 100w. You still have to have the ignition turned on for the inverter to run.

I use the outlet in the bed to power a portable fridge on road trips, but as soon as I stop, I have to switch it over to a portable generator since I do not want the ignition left on.

Has anyone made any progress on this? I would love to be able to add the plugs inside the cabin and in the bed.
