What’s everyone’s opinion on a replacement for OEM shocks? Noticed one of my rear shocks has a light oil stain on it, like it has a leaking seal.

Welcome from OKC! You can probably still find a set of low mileage oem take offs with a little search effort. Start with clicking forums and scroll to marketplace. If I have time, I'll look and see if I still have mine, think I gave them away already though, but I could be wrong. Good luck!

The black OEM shocks aren't that great. On my 2013 they didn't last 30K. @memario1214 can get you set up with a better alternative that will work for you. He has alot of different options.

That's where Colton comes into play. Tell him how you plan to use the truck and what setup you have...lift, tires, etc. And he will set you up with what will work best for you. @memario1214

To start - what is your budget? Aftermarket bolt on suspension runs from $500 for decent replacement parts to well over $5000 for mid travel before even touch long travel stuff. Two popular options are Bilstein 5100's and Eibach Pro Truck shocks, both of which are in the $500 range for a set of four. Both make improvements over stock, IMO, with the Bilsteins providing more feedback and a sportier feel, with the Eibachs being a softer ride with a less sporty attitude. From there, your have more options with higher price tags.

The Bilstein 5100’s and Eibach Pro Truck shocks (not the 2.0 kit that comes with new front springs) are stock height compatible. Beyond that, there aren’t very many stock height options. Believe you me, I’ve looked..

Beware, many of others came to this site with the same or similar plan. Guess what else, many of those plans soon became a springboard and sent them down the old "one thing leads to ten others path" because making a good truck a better truck is appealing. Do extensive research and then do some more before you buy anything.
