OEM JBL headunit with navigation, amp and 12 speakers - SOLD!!!

Up for sale is an OEM JBL head unit with navigation, JBL factory amp and JBL factory speakers. These were pulled from my truck last week.

You can't tell from the picture, but there is a tempered glass screen protector on the head unit's screen. If your truck doesn't have one already, you will need to source a GPS and XM (requires subscription) antenna to get either of those to work.

There are 12 speakers in all, front left (speaker and tweeter), front right (speaker and tweeter), front left dash, front right dash, front center, rear left (speaker and tweeter), rear right (speaker and tweeter), and subwoofer.

What did you replace it with?

 

Continuing my budget build theme, I was able to replace it with an Alpine head unit, some used 6.5's components and a used amp. The sound system won't win any audio competitions, but it'll drown out my tinnitus just fine.

 

Everything but the subwoofer box is bubble wrapped. This system is ready to ship.

What you don't see if the additional air padded bubble bags, aka air-popcorn, stuffed in between the items.

 

I am in the middle of a budget build as well. I didn't buy the truck for it's sound system but I do like to hear some clarity and a good punch on the low end. My biggest problem is that the truck has M/T style tires (bought it this way) and it drowns out the radio. I am planning to switch to A/T at some point and that along with my sounds mods should help.

 

M/T tires are pretty loud. I didn't add any sound mat to my truck, but others have. It does help with the random reverberations/vibrations from the speakers, but it also adds weight. Any one who has gone off-roading with me knows I like to bring everything but the kitchen with me.

 

Does this have Apple CarPlay and everything that is needed to convert a 2019 Tundra with JBL and navigation to get Apple CarPlay? Would I just need to purchase the harness?

 

This head unit does have Apple CarPlay.

What harness are you referring to? This is the back of the head unit...WITH the navigation doohickey (harness).
