Before I hunt the world over, does anyone know if the 2022 Tundra Platinum from grille emblem/Toyota logo is the same size and fitment as the emblem on any other Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner model? I want to get a black overlay (or OEM black emblem) from Toyota but Toyota does not just offer the blacked out emblem by itself. I do not want to paint, Plastic Dip or get an overlay from Ebay(as I worry abot the long term quailty). Thanks.

Though you mention not wanting paint ect , I did a urethane paint that has held up for years on a couple other vehicles(to include a 3rd gen off roading Tacoma). Can get the black plastic ones off ebay to leave the matte look or to spray satin or gloss.

Thanks! Your emblem looks good. Mind sharing what paint you used? I was worried about the paint not sticking to the chrome and eventually peeling or chipping off. Also, how did you get the center foglight strip on your Platinum? I would really like that for mine. Thanks.

The grille and center were sprayed with a two stage sating black urethane from Eastwood paint I believe (I have used PPG and Eastwood but pretty sure mixed eastwood for this) It goes on easy, self levels nicely and really gets pretty hard.

The mustache grill part was purchased from OEM paints. (They have MGM as well).

The cwnter is a Baja 20” LED. You can buy light, switch and brackets but I only needed the light as I made brackets and connected to Auxbeam switcher.
Really like the amber backlite feature. I think I am going to wire that feature i
So when ignition on the backlighting comes on.
