I know that the topic of flares is a bit over kill but I have yet to come across one that says you can retain your mud flaps with Toyota pocket style flares.

I recently bought a set from my dealership and have watched a bunch of YouTube installs. I notice on the bushwacker, there is a bracket that is provided that’s installed in the upper center wheel well.
On the OE one I bought, they did not have this so I googled instructions.
Any of you have this installed with the mud flaps?

Those are ok but what about placements over the flares? The flares themselves do not stop road crap from hitting your vehicle.
