My 'system' consists of the following

    - stock HU
    - output to a JL Audio RD900/5
    - which itself is output to the 4 doors and the sub (I forget which speakers I have in the door, but they're decent aftermarket)

I noticed a week or two ago that if I *completely* fade HU output to the back...almost all sound is gone.

I know that the rear tweeters, dash tweeters and center speaker is driven directly from the stock HU, whereas the front and rear door speakers are driven normally by the stock OEM amplifier. With that said, I know for darn sure that with the stock OEM amplifier, I could easily fade from front to rear, etc. Unsure why replacing the OEM amplifier with an aftermarket would change that. Any thoughts?

Did it work properly before and all of a sudden the issue started?

Can you hear the rear doors when faded to center?
Like put your ear to the speaker.

Have you tried swapping the front and rear RCAs to the amp an see if the issue reverses?
Fade to front and hear nothing?

All great questions, and....all questions I don't know the answer to. *facepalm*

I'll do some testing after work this afternoon and see what happens.
