I currently have a Blackvue Dash cam installed and powered off the OBD connector. I want to use my Carista adapter as well. I do have the hardwire kit for the Blackvue but was thinking about just using an OBD splitter before going thru the hassle of the hardwire kit install.

Any issues using an OBD Splitter? Doesnt seem like the best idea but maybe Im over thinking it.

    Thanks in advance

I was curious about the same splitter. I have the Torque app and normally leave the reader plugged in, until recently.

From everything I read, a splitter simply wont work. I haven't tested it, but thats what I've read.
Hopefully someone has tried it and has a definite answer.
