So I was wondering what extra maintenance is required and does it require better antifreeze, higher psi cap, shorter OCI....ect. what if anything have the guys that have been Supercharged for a while done extra.

I’m glad for the thread. Bookmarked it.
@Saltyhero13’s link will help some of us from having to dig through 400 pages of the general supercharger thread.

Personally I just change my oil at 3K intervals but I've considered other mods and upgrades to preserve reliability and longevity.

I've not seen high engine temps but I also don't tow heavy, mostly haul gear nor do I drag race my truck.

I searched for, "maintenance" within the s/c thread and found results within seconds.

Mine has only been supercharged for 16k miles/2 years, but happy to share my thoughts on maintenance FWIW. I like a 3-5k OCI using 5w30 instead of 0w20. It’s probably also wise to keep up with the fluid changes on the diffs, transfer case and transmission. I’m gonna try to stick to 30k intervals on those personally. Keeping the coolant fresh too is also probably beneficial since the engine will generally be seeing higher heat.

Other preventive measures that might help are a catch can on the PCV, and changing out your serpentine belt more often since it’s under more stress with spinning the blower. Spark plugs will also probably need to be changed more often. I’m thinking every 30-40k for the plugs now. This is based on nothing scientific other than they are likely to get fouled more quickly with the boost and rich mixtures. I also went a couple steps cooler on plugs (Denso IKH24s), not sure if you did colder plugs as part of your install or not. 1 step colder would be IKH22s I think.

Also, sorry to say your tires aren’t gonna last as long!

Severe duty schedule for sure! It’s in the owners manual. I’m not supercharged and it’s what I follow. YMMV

Also during summer I run 5w40 and winter 5w30. Run cooler spark plugs ikh 24 gapped at .021 for 10+ psi.

If I follow through with this, I bet my first set doesn't last that long.
