Wife and I are deciding to maybe purchase a rav 4. Anyone on here have one?
If so do you, like it, love it, or hate it.

We have a 2019 with the regular 2.5 gas engine. It’s great for a small family SUV. It’s rides and handles great, gets 36 mpg on highway trips, 28 in our local area. It’s also good in the snow, and has been problem free for 50k miles. I would recommend one if it fits your needs.

My mother in law leases them. I just got her a 2024 XSE hybrid. It has pretty much all the features my 22 Platinum has, phenomenal on gas, drives great, looks sporty, and with the hybrid it is very fast at any speed. The hybrid system works great too especially in town and city driving. It’s actually quite amazing. I highly recommend it. It can get close to 500 miles on a tank and I think it’s a 12 or 15 gallon tank

They are great. I am also thinking about getting one as a 2nd vehicle.

I’ve got a 21 with gas / non hybrid awd.
Love it. The tundra doesn’t get driven much because of gas prices and how well the rav does. it does great in snow. Not a lot of power, but I’m not racing anyone.

We've got a 2013 RAV4 and while I won't admit it to the wife it's a great little car. Gets great gas mileage and is comfortable for a small family. I would not hesitate to purchase another one down the road.

We're soon to be empty-nesters and my wife no longer needs her Sienna AWD, she wants a RAV4 AWD Limited

BIL/SIL just bought a 2024 RAV4 Prime. It is really smooth. Great acceleration. They are now selling their 2011 Rav with 235k on it that’s still runs great. The old one had a barn door with a full sized spare on the back door (Land Cruiser-esq) which gave a lot of extra room in the back, otherwise the vehicles are remarkably similar in size. The new one will be a great road trip vehicle and around town they can just use all electric. Pretty nice little rig it appears.

We had a 2016 hybrid that we just traded in for a 2024 hybrid. The 2016 was trouble free for 8 years and the 2024 is much nicer. Leather, sunroof, all the nannies (my wife wanted all the safety features since we have a 16 year old and 20 year old driver in the house). They’re great

98 RAV4 was my first Toyota. 350,000 miles and still would drive that thing anywhere over my old truck with 100,000 miles. Newer ones still to have a little less legroom but unless you are over 6’5 probably not an issue.

I picked out a 2017 hybrid all wheel drive for my middle daughter, I drive it sometimes. Drives good, great on snow and ice.

I have a lifted 2018…crazy I know!IMG_0215.jpgI beat the snot out of it and it keeps coming back for more.

It’s an excellent vehicle that has been very reliable. I love mine!

Great gas mileage, comfortable, and the AWD is hands down better than 4x4 in the rain and in moderate snow/ice (4x4 is best in deep snow).

Not that you need any more confirmation but everyone I know who has a RAV4 has nothing bad to say about it.

Same for Toyota Sienna’s or Honda Odyssey’s.

Some vehicles just flat out make sense, last forever, and provide a lot of practicality. RAV4 is one of them. You can’t go wrong. Just do maintenance on time or ahead of time (no 10K mile oil changes) and your wife will get sick of it way way before it ever actually breaks or causes issues.
