Exactly. First need to switch out suspension setup then high clearance rear bumper with swing out to hold the spare

So I made a spreadsheet. Compared 315 STT, 315 KM3, & 35 KM 3. I like the weights of the 315’s. The 35 is like 10lbs heavier per tire. I’ll post the comparison when I get back to my computer. You guys make the call.

Why the heck does BFG have both 315/70/17 and 35x12.5x17? There is .1" difference in height and width. There are so many other sizes they could have made instead. They could have make a 36" and I'd immediately go out and buy them.

I know! It’s crazy how different the weight is between them too!

I understand the benefits of a swing-out bumper but for a DD, I really did not like this. My old Pathfinder had the spare mounted on a swing-out rack and the tire really blocked my visibility and you had to swing the tire out every time you opened the back.

The problem with most high clearance bumpers is that you either lose the receiver all together or you get one that is not "officially" rated.

Those are both pitfalls I agree with. But if I ever wanted to go 37’s, the spare won’t fit underneath and I don’t want it in the bed.

Yeah - not a lot of good options for the tiny 5.5' beds.

By the time we all go to 37's, everyone else will be on 40's. :D

Anyone care to expand? I am thinking of a swing bumper down the line (2020 or later). Is it a good option or bad? If I want to switch to 37"s i think that's the only way to carry a spare, right? The Exp1 bumper look awesome, but so does the price.
