Just became the owner of a 2017 platinum crewmax with 33k miles on it. Love the truck, coming from a 2014 TSS that doesnt even have a power seat!!

Noticed something right away. The center console lid is very noisy when resting my arm on it, which is typical driving position for pretty much anyone. It seems just a tad loose, having a little side to side play. Curious if it can be tightened up? My brother in law just bought a brand new tundra and has the same problem. So it's obviously not just my truck that has this problem.

Anyone found a solution to this? I searched the forum and couldn't find anything
    thanks in advance!

Used some sticky back felt to take up the slack. Worked well. Stuff for furniture legs or cabinet doors.
Pics in my build, link in signature.

I might add that i have captains chairs with fixed console, not the fold up console option, whatever its called.....my 2014 has the fold up console and its never made any noise...

May work better than felt, depending on amount of slop or slack......
