So, I installed a set of 6112s about a year ago and I've been noticing a clunk or creak when entering parking lots and driveways with gutters, sounds like something shifting and returning as the suspension cycles. I used the instructions I found here, no problems during installation. They were assembled by Boss 4X4 with a shim on driver's side. I have checked torques numerous times, even loosened and retorqued with jack under LCA, sway bar and bushings have been loosened and retorqued. Planning to loosen UCA bolts and retorque them next, any other ideas would be appreciated.

What side of the truck is the clunk on?

I was the one in one of the posts... check your skid plate, check all your clearances. Check your LCAs and bushings, check your steering stops.

I had the 6112's on my Tacoma and developed the same clunk noise. It bothered me and I tried fixing it for a while, but never found it. Odd that it was fine for a year and then started making noise. Mine was coming from my drivers side.

Get a paint pen and mark your alignment cam bolts and check them again after a couple days to see if they moved.

WINNER! I installed an RCI skid plate back in May, didn't even occur to me that could be the culprit. I loosened the two aft nuts enough to slip some plastic spacers in and tightened the nuts back down, backed out of and into the driveway and could not make the noise again. Thanks for all the help, I love this place!
