    4 link.

a while back a local street racer around here hurt a lot of feelings with a RCSB 5.7 Tundra with a 300 shot on it. Truck looked completely stock except for the drag radials and a 4 link in the rear. Lol.

It sounds like you track race since street racing is against the COC here on Tundras.com. Make sure you mention that when discussing racing. Thanks man.

A limited slip differential is what you’re looking for.
The more expensive option is installing an ARB locker.

E-locker would be easier if you do not want to rely on air

Locker / real LSD, Slicks, weight over the rear wheels, improved rear suspension, and better throttle / launch control by the operator.

Does a company make an E Locker for the 07 newer Tundras now?

Yes but not actually ready for full production. I have Harrop E-lockers in front and rear of my 2018. They are in a contract type agreement with Eaton USA in Dayton, Ohio which will be doing the distribution. There is another company that has "some" but want a lot of money for theirs (twice the ARB price) but that would surely not be the case when Eaton USA gets them in their hands.

I knew Harrop was making them, just had not heard if they were in production yet.

    Any ETA on production dates?

I was told last year when I got mine that they will be announcing the new addition to their E-locker line at the SEMA show and they did. There is some type of big agreement or contract they are in with Eaton USA that requires "all Australian production E-lockers for the new Tundra's" to go to Eaton USA for distribution. I was just told this morning by one of the boys down under that Eaton will begin distributing their ELockers later this year. No specific date was provided

How does that perform in the corners?

:anonymous: E-Lockers have never been designed for corners, only straight lines :burnrubber:

Agreed! It would be cool if they made a limited slip that would also lock with the flip of a switch like an E locker.

I know... that's why they are so impractical in the world of daily driver trucks.

If they could make something like that and stout as well, I would give them my money.:spending:
I’ve had a few vehicles with a limited slip, and I absolutely loved it for the street. But I did find its limitations out in the dirt. Upon articulation, stuffing one wheel up into the fender, it was an open diff again. You can sit there and play with the brake pedal, but nothing beats a true locker in those type of situations. But a true locker, is back to being an open diff out on the street around corners. Back to boring again LOL

You've got to get the rear lowered substantially to send weight back there, then much wider rear tires, true LSD differential, etc. - or just sell the Tundra and buy a purpose built muscle car - probably be cheaper and more reliable than modding a Tundra.
