No tow/haul

Hello.
Have 2006 tundra.
Just got a 2023 Sr today.
It has Sr tow package. So didn't think until we got it home. But pretty sure mine doesn't have a tow haul mode (appears switch would be located in the center console right behind shifter).
Any one know much, my sales guy sure doesn't and Toyota Customer care is closed today.
Why would my truck window sticker say tow package, has receiver and wiring, but no tow haul mode?
I'm afraid if I tow my boat in regular drive it will hurt transmission?

 

My 2017 SR was the same way, had the Tow package but no tow/haul button. The tow/haul just changes the shift points to make towing 5K+ feel more like you are not towing, which in my 2021 it is noticeable when on and towing. I don't think any damage would occur from towing with tow/haul off (or nonexistent).

 

My 23 SR5 TRD OR has a tow button to the right side of the eco/normal/sport mode round knob selector indicator.
Above the crawl mode selector button.

 

SR doesn’t have the mode selector so no ECO, Normal, Sport and no tow haul. Also, only OR has the crawl and MTS.

Tow/Haul is just a comfort thing. Just gains up the pedal and changes shift point to keep RPM up. No harm done without the mode.

 

Keep it out of OD is all & Manually move shift points...
