2014 CM Magnetic Platinum 4x4 Tundra

7" pro-comp, 35" tires, fuel assault rims, Amp Research power steps, JRT system

I've got a 14 platinum. I installed one of JRT's systems. Hertz door speakers, JL subs, and a JBL club amp. I retained the stock HU (because I like the stock look) and used an Axxcess DSP. System sounds fantastic, better than my buddy's system he paid 3 times as much and got installed by a local shop. Problem is now my texts don't play when I receive them. I'll hit play and as long as I'm stopped it'll come up on the display but no sound out of the speaker. Voice command works and "talks" but no text play back. Has anyone experienced this? Did I hook up or not hook up something right? Or is it just a feature I had to sacrifice for great sound?
