    Hey all,
I bought an auction 2011 Tundra 5.7 4wd that had mechanical issues that was supposed to run and drive. Upon recieving it, the motor was totally FUBAR'd. Overheated until head gaskets blew and cylinder walls failed resulting in no compression in any cylinder. Needless to say I had to throw a new motor in it. I grabbed a lower mileage motor out of a 2008 2wd Sequioa and just finished the install.
This particular truck also had a propane injection system installed. A kit from Technocarb that had the capability of running on propane, gas or a combo of both. The sytem looked to be disabled and missing pieces so I removed it. It was pretty well tied into the wiring harness, appeared to be intercepting each injector pulse and going through the Propane injection ECM and then adjusting to how much propane it was using as well.
I removed the harness and reattached all the wires that it was intercepting to ensure it was back to a factory connection. I feel pretty good about the removal of the unit but obviously I have issues now with the engine not starting.
My main question is- Was there any changes to the actual motor from the 2008 to the 2011 model? I am using all sensors from the 2008 with the 2011 wiring harness and PCM.
I am just trying to eliminate possible incompatibility issues before I dig further into the harness. If its something easy like the crank pos sensor not sending proper signal or something like that.
    Thanks,

Update, I tried to run codes and no connection with ecm. I'm thinking I may have a 5 bolt reference issue or a ground issue. I'm going to start disconnecting sensors and see if I can get connectivity.

Update: I found the issue to be the actual connector to the ECM. All the plastic on the truck is super brittle and the levers broke off when I was attempting to remove it previously. I was able to push and wiggle it on enough to get it to connect.
The Truck fired off really quickly and runs. However, there are 10 check engine codes that it is throwing for a multitude of things. Low range on the Intake air temp, scanner shows a reading of negative 40. Every Camshaft code you can think of pertaining to sensors and variable valves, lean bank 1 and lean bank 2, Evap leak large, and something to do with a solenoid pressure. I will run them again and write down the actual codes when I get some time. I am thinking of pulling the ecm connectors, cleaning them up and reconnecting to see if that is leading to further issues.
