    Hello all,

I've been a long lurker here on this forum and got a lot of useful information. I am hoping someone can help me point me in the right direction. I have 2008 tundra sr5 crewmax. I'm lost on why my headlights. Taillights, turn signal lights are not working. Checked all fuses but getting no power to the headlight and tail fuse. I tried replacing the fuse as well. This happened when I started removing old aftermarket stereo, passenger seat, and factory amplifier. On the engine compartment, it shows Main 40a but there is no fuse. Only a long clear box with black plastic covering it and no way to access it unless removing whole fuse box. Is there another relay that I'm missing? I hear clicking in the front and rear. I also have the 2018 sequoia led headlights. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

Although I have no input to your issue, if you can take some pics of the what is on the fuse box it would be helpful...

Did everything work before you removed the aftermarket HU and factory amp?
Is there an aftermarket alarm, remote start, or headlights?

Sorry for late reply. Yes everything did work before I removed the stereo. I did more testing today.i jumped the headlight relay and it is working correctly. I jumped the tail light fuse and it is working. I am somehow not getting any power to the headlight relay or taillight fuse. I replaced the main fusible link today as well and no change. Could the turn signal switch be bad for everything to not work? So I have no power to headlights, tail lights, and no turn signal...hazards lights do work.. back up camera does not work as well. I do hear the relay clicking in the back underneath the truck. No aftermarket alarm, remote start. Only sequoia led headlights.

Reconnect the stereo and see if everything is normal. If it is, and you are trying to replace it, you will have to do some homework to find the stereo that is compatible with your rig.

It might be a pita to install the old radio. There is a lot of wires that I dont remember where it connects to.. Right now there is no stereo installed yet. I still need to run new wire everything up which I havent gotten to yet.

It did have a connector but some wires were wire tapped. I had to resolder the ones I removed. I'll try to put it in tomorrow and see what happens

Just a note here. In most cases when you buy a new radio you can request a wire harness that converts from radio to vehicle type with the proper connector so there is no need to cut wires.

Yes i know that. The previous owner did some weird wiring. But would this cause my lights to not work?
