I put a deposit down for an SR5 without the powered seats/softex leather (truck is in transit). The truck that comes with that package is about $5000 more as the dealer added overpriced accessories to it as well (the powered-seats package is only $2100 addition but I'm being forced to pay $5K if I want it for the add-ons)

So I'm really considering the truck without the powered seats, but after watching a review, the video stated that the non-powered seats doesn't have height adjustment for the driver's side? Is that accurate? I find it crazy that a $55k truck doesn't have height adjustment on the driver's seat.

I'm 5'9", curious if anyone else has issues with the height of the seat or if it's pretty good for a one-size-fits-all?

That's how they suck you in to pay for it. You probably want the height adjustment to comfortably see as much of the road as possible over the gawd awful hood bulge.

I’d go sit in a similar truck with manual seat, see if the height works for you.
That’s the only way you will be sure.

Unfortunately they don't have any on-hand with manual seats... My luck of course lol.

I saw there is a product called Seat Jacker. (I assume in the even I want to raise the seat a tad, these will work). Unfortunately my wife will probably be sitting too low in the truck if she drives, but I guess at least she doesn't typically drive my vehicle often. Still kind of annoyed there is no manual adjust for height. After all this is a TRUCK, out of all vehicles, this is probably the one type you'd want your driver to make sure they can see over the hood properly.

I am 6' 4" and it is a bit high for me. 5'9" should be good. I wish I know how to lower it couple of inches.

I would personally check into the price of another level truck.
Back in 2022 my cost me 60K. ( 1794) They have a lot of good deals on the Tundra's now, Go online and shop around.
I live in Georgia, but I found the best deal in Texas, one way plane ticket for $150.00 saved me 5K-to 8K!!
The 150.00 was money well spent. I never hurts to look
This is mine when I was driving back from Texas to Georgia.

Dont ever buy a truck without a power drivers seat is my only advice. Maybe the manuals fit you but if they don't you got a lot of miserable miles ahead of you.
