Been looking for a 2nd gen for awhile after my 1st gen got totaled with no luck. These things are crazy expensive these days. I want a 4x4 double cab with 6.5ft bed or 8ft bed. Can't find anything with decent price without crazy mileage. Also with California gas prices these days pushing 5 dollars a gallon for regular, it's very discouraging looking for a used truck. I really want one to tow my toy hauler but at the same time my head tells me to just wait it out another year or so. did anyone have any luck looking for a used truck that didn't cost them an arm or leg.

used prices are top dollar right now, as you know. Best bet is to do a nationwide search. Cargurus or similar sites make it easy. Cost of a $300 plane ticket is cheap if you can find the right truck for you.

Prices can be all over the place, seen some at crazy prices and others at good deals. You are just going to need to take the time and really look around. I would also FB marketplace, carmax, carvana. There are still good deals out there.

It’s crazy enough that a dude bought a one way ticked from Buffalo to VA Beach then took a Uber to my house to by my 2004 Denali. Although, the truck was mint and garage kept and only had 100K on it

The only tough thing about buying something that far away sight unseen is the time and money to get there and then it turns out that it's not a good truck or the dude flakes. hard to take a chance like that. I'll travel as far was Nevada or Oregon because i'm located in SF bay area.
