Does your Tundra make a whooshing or hissing sound when you open the gas cap?
My 97 Tacoma does that (very long whooshing sound most of the time) and just curious if other Tundra's do it or not. Mine doesn't! I have another old car that makes the same sound.
The car runs great but I like to find non-existing problems :)

    Thanks

like there is pressure or vacuum in there and when u open the cap it makes a long hissing sound ...
I have 2 other cars that do make that sound every time I am getting gas and i am used to it so I maybe comparing new technology with older cars.

ok thanks, I just saw the evap system post.

Yep, pull the filler nozzle and quit the first time it clicks off.

If you go beyond the first click, there's a chance that when the fuel expands, it will flood the evaporation system with raw fuel and cause issues. The system is designed for fuel vapor and not liquid fuel. What sorts of issues may occur, I'm not sure, but maybe someone who has had them or understands it better can share.
