No drl

Hey team. So I tried installing led signal lights up front and they ended up burning the fuse (I assume I installed one backwards?). Then i removes them and put the factory halogens back in and replaced the fuse. Now my truck still has signal and hazard, but all the marker lights are out. I checked to see if they have a separate fuse but couldn’t find one. Any ideas?

 

Anything? Anyone ever have this issue?

 

There is a separate 15A fuse, labelled “Tail” in the panel under the dash for your front marker /park lights, tail lights, and lic plate lights.

Fuse is good. Also, I pulled the horse trailer today and the marker lights work on it as should. Now I’m more confused haha

 

Check the stock bulbs maybe you. Burned out the drl in them.they are dual filament

 

Burn them all out at the same time (Parellel)? Or are they wired in series?

 

I’ve had it happen but with the turn singals. Just look at the bulbs see if anything is blown

 

Can’t really be much bulbs,fuse,wiring

 

For shits replace the fuse again somethings a fuse may look good but it can still be bad.

 

Best way is to get a test light or meter and see if you have power going to the bulb on the DRL

 

The tail fuse is for the marker lights located under the dash in that fuse box

 

Trailer plug has all its own fuses I believe.

Me again. So ever since this episode the markers haven’t been flashing when I lock/unlock the truck. They flash with the factory key fob but not when I use the Viper starter fob (which is my main fob). Anyone have any ideas?

 

Look for fuses inline to your viper module, or on the viper module itself.
