Hi all, I have a 2015 TRD Pro. Recently my two rear brake lights stopped working. Bulbs are fine, fuses are good, turn signals are fine AND my 3rd brake light above the cab is fine… so I assume the brake light switch is fine as well. I currently have it temporarily rigged to work by splicing off of the 7 pin trailer wires (comes with a host of other issues).

I can’t figure this out for the life of me. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's odd the 3rd brake light works and the rears don't.
Even more that the trailer plug brake lights work.

Perhaps the rears have a bad ground.
I'd check the hot (pin 3 red wire) and ground (pin 2 white with black stripe wire) at the tail light socket (R4 and R5) with a DMM and see what you have.
Check the red wire for power with the brake applied and the ground for continuity with a common ground.

Is there any chance you replaced the stop/tail bulbs recently?
    Do the parking/running lights work?

Parking/running lights will be pin 1 green wire.

    Good luck...
