No beep or light flash on arm, until I try the drivers door?

Hello all,

After changing the door panel on my 2014 sequoia, there is no beep or lights flashing when locking/arming. It beeps and flashes when unlocking as usual.

Process:
Shut truck off
Open door and get out
close door and press lock - doors lock, but no beep, no light flashing.
grab the door handle and try the door - it beeps and the lights flash.
press lock again - it beeps and the lights flash.

Anyone have any ideas?
