I’ve had my fix 86 dsp now for about 5 years. Transferred it from my taco. Today when driving into work I lost all sound to both speaks and sub that connect to it. I looked everything over I could and don’t see an issue. Has anyone experienced this or similar. It’s just one blinking light. That appears to indicate a calibration is in progress?

not sure how to upload video says file doesn’t have allowed extension

it’s the upper ‘L’ left light that flashes green or possibly amber not really sure what color to call it

Says amber means power on, no signal. Is there a chance a wire somewhere vibrated loose?

Sorry I can't answer your question but can you tell me how you like the change in sound quality after you added the dsp? I have all the fundamentals done in my system but no dsp. My HU allows for some tuning like time alignement but no individual EQ, etc.

no don’t think so. End up calling tech support, they said that wasn’t blinking a code, that it wasn’t normal and there’s a good chance something internal went. Tried resetting it to calibrate again while on the phone with tech support and it would even go into calibration mode. So I’m sending out for repair. About a third of the cost of a new one.

to tell you the truth I bough this set up for my taco 5 years ago all at once. Before that I gad systems as a kid but only cared if the neighborhood could hear it so. to be honest with you idk how much of a difference it makes for me. I think it eliminates a piece needed if keeping stock head unit. Also I’m only running front speakers (Jl c5’s), no center, or rear speakers. I’m sure with a full system it’s help. Fuck it just drop the money and buy one, I’d be buying a new one if I didn’t just buy a house lol. Sorry not much help.
