So sadly I waited six months for this truck to come in and had a accident with 3200 miles on it, enough force that the frame is wrecked. Talk to the dealership with no answers or concerns. Also tried there a in a wreck SOS button with no response. I was told this is like Chevys on star… And could be 6 months before it will be fixed

I have that same SOS button in my 2018 camry. I think you need a subscription.

The frame is bent and they are going to fix it???

It does not look really bad?? Replace some front end parts and inner pieces and good to go? If the frame is bent I would be asking for another rep to look at it.

Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you and the other driver are okay?

I am on my second 2022 Tundra in five months, because I was hit by a distracted teen driver less than three months after owning my Tundra. Initally, I was told $35k in damanges and 4-6 months to fix. Then USAA flew in their appraiser and decided to total the truck after reviewing the damages more indepth and determining any fix would most likly cause issues down the road. I ended up getting approx $11k over what I paid for my Tundra!

I started looking for new Tundras once I received the appraisal. I communicated with over 100 dealers throughout, Viriginia, Maryland, Pesavanlya, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Flordia. Luckly, a local dealer to me called me out of the blue and said they had a Tundra I might be interested in because the person withdrew from the purchase. It took me 5 weeks of searching, and a week of waiting for the Truck to be delivered to the dealership to get into my new, once again, Tundra.

All that to say, it sucks. I understand what you are going through. You are going to have to spend a lot of time researching and talking with dealerships and dealing with the insurcance company. But, I think you will come out, financially, a little better off. And maybe, with a Tundra model or a few accessories you wish you had. Just trying to look more towards the bright side.
