Been wrestling with this a/c problem for a minute now and still can't seem to figure it out, checked all fuses ran every bypass and test on all components and still nothing not even a little bit of air coming through the vents at all, changed out blower, a/c amplifier the next thing is to just get a new compressor but I am afraid of buying that and the problem still remaining cause for the life of me I cannot figure this out period so it puzzles me to the core! Anyone with any advice or the actual answer to this problem would greatly appreciate it very much thanks guys!!

Brand new blower fan and bought another a/c amplifier too, checked every fuse that has to do with the a/c inside and outside in the engine bay everything checks out

Is the controller for the vents working.
It’s there any blockages from outside air to the blower

Do you have voltage on the blower motor when it is commanded to run? Voltage to the compressor clutch?

Yes to both and just did a re-check on all fuses inside and out and all check out also had replaced the relay to the magnetic clutch at the same time I replaced the blower, it just seems like there is no power reaching the blower or something cause when I flip the switch for the a/c it runs like if it was working properly I just don't get any kind of air out any of the vents on any of the settings

A/c is fully charged also, I'm telling you guys I feel I have done everything inside and outside of the book and can't figure out the problem but I also feel like the problem is between the blower and some electrical problem I just can't seem to pin point it and also if it were some electrical problem it would have blown some type of fuse and all are good as of a recent check today. Freaking puzzling!!!!

Cannot find that resistor to save my life, is it built into the blower motor as a single unit?? cause if it is, it is a brand new blower motor unit

    Pretty things
They are typically secured to the airbox or somewhere in the air flow of the system to keep the resistors cooler. Usually pretty accessable as well.

I'm sure someone will chime in with experience on the tundra specifically.

Did you change out the cabin filter?

There's a lot of debugging missing here. Does the fan spin when it's supposed to? What would cause you to want to replace the AC compressor? That seems entirely unrelated.

Try setting the blower speed to its highest level. That bypasses the resistor. The resistor is shown in blue.

Everything basic and elemental as far as checking fuses and filters has all checked out since it's all new....
    • new a/c amplifier
    • new blower motor
    • new clutch relay
    • a/c fully charged
    • clutch engages so purge valve is in working condition.
    • dash controls in working condition.
    • when a/c is turned on and turned all the. way to the max and both dual controls set properly for cold air or even heat nothing at all comes out of the vents whatsoever and the system acts like it is working in proper condition minus the air or any air coming out of the vents but while on clutch engages and power seems to be running the system and again no air ....
Looking for that resistor right now and still cannot locate it took the case apart and nothing still, but I will continue until I find it and the schematic from Randy helps alot so thank you Randy's and all of you guys chipping in to help me figure this out our tundra community is the best in my opinion!! ☝
I will keep ya guys posted with the progress and search for this elusive resistor
Again thank you guys and appreciate any continued advice, help, and opinions.

It seems to not spin cause there is no air coming out of it whatsoever. So I check all the fuses related and all are in working condition.

Yeah, this is a little suspicious. Can you hear it spinning? Have you removed the cabin filter and looked in there?

A severe blockage or really screwed up blend doors might allow for the blower to spin but not move any air.

I'm pretty sure if you can hear the blower motor running than you have a blockage somewhere . If the blower motor isn't running at all then it would be electrical . I know you said you checked the fuses but what about any of the wires running to the blower motor ?

Is the blower motor seized up? can you spin the fan? If the shaft is seized it's new motor time. Can you can measure voltage at the motor terminals? If not why, you sure the resistor speed pack is OK, can you ohm it out, what are the measured values?

As of last night and this morning I do not believe the blower motor is getting any power all though all fuses are in working condition so I do believe now that it is something electrical and will be testing voltage a lil later today so thanks lovetrucks, KK6PD, and audiowize cause there is also a blend doors issue that I believe have something to do with whatever is going on too cause before this total shut down of the a/c system it would take at least 1 or 2 mins to start blowing air hot or cold, so I have my lil elimination process plate full and will be doing these checks and following up on all the many opinions and advice from many of you guys just to make sure I covered everything once I get this resolved and I don't have to worry about this kind of crazy ass mystery of an a/c failure anytime soon in the near future here, again thanks to the many of you who have taken the time to chime in an offer up your experience and opinions and advice :bowdown:

You seem to be going in the right direction, I know it painful to hear this, but maybe a trip to a AC shop might be a bit cheaper that Toyota, and they can take care of it quickly. In any event, we hope you post a resolution to this problem, closure is a good thing! Good Luck!!
