2009. Need help. Anytime after I fill up, my truck will not accelerate for about 30 secs.
Idle is fine, starts fine, but when I push the gas nothing happens. It can be a complete fillip or just 10 bucks. If I sit on gas for about 30 secs, it kicks in Any ideas?? Thanks

odd. After ea. fill up, gotta have to do with some gas capacity reset in the ECU somewhere. How is your MAF looking ? how about spark plugs ? how many miles on the truck?

Plugs changed about year ago. 130k on truck. It is strange because once it kicks in, it is fine until next trip to gas pump. MAF? Is this the mass air flow sensor you are referring to?

This sounds live an emission system issue.

Evaporator purge valve stuck open, making the intake a fuel rich environmente until it clears out excessive vapors?

I know I'm gonna get flamed, but try filling, but leave the car running. If it doesn't have issues, you have narrowed down the possible problems.

Do you top off the tank after the nozzle clicks itself off? If so I would recommend stopping that practice and don't add any gas after it clicks, that can cause issues with evap system.

that's another idea. how about filling up but not to the max, does it still do it ? like maybe filling up one less gallon.

Something is going on with your evap system, like fueling up is clogging up some valve and not letting it purge. Next time fill up, start the truck, then start the truck and leave the gas cap open. See if that will let the truck run, you might throw a code for P0441 but that can be turned off by pulling the battery for a few minutes.
