    Hi,
I’m new and a little confused. Surprise! I jumped ship from Tacoma to Tundra recently. Normally I don’t Mod my vehicles too much, but I seem to have gotten the bug with this one. It’s a21 SR5 cal blue with the factory Trd package. It’s got the stock 18 wheels on it. I’ve looked around and I think I like the gunmetal warlord wheels. So my question is would I have any problems using the 18 inch version of those with the stock Michelin’s That came on the truck? I know I need the 5x 150 bolt pattern, but do I need a specific offset? Also; what’s a leveling kit? And do I need one of those to use the warlords? Lastly, where’s the best place to get those wheels? I appreciate any advice that you all would be willing to share on this. Thanks in advance

I'm assuming you have the TRD off road package? I believe your wheels have a +50mm offset. I have zero knowledge on the warlords but you should be able to see their offset on their spec list.
If you have a 4x4 truck, your vehicle comes stock with some rake so when you load it up and the bed is heavy you aren't nose high. A level kit brings the front of your truck up to the height of the back. For us it's a 2" lift in the front to level with the back. This just affects what size tires you can run.
If the warlords are also 18" wheels, your stock tires should fit and your tpms sensors should also work with the new wheels.
I know I didn't answer all but that should help you some.

Thanks Robert makes sense = leveling kit. I do pull a trailer with this truck, but I use an equalizer hitch and it seems ok. Yes it’s a 4x w/ the trd package & factory 18’s.

The tires will fit on the Warlords because they are also an 18 inch wheel. Your concern should be tire width and not offset in regards to tire fitment. The TRD wheels are an 18x8 where the Warlords are 18x9 I believe. That extra inch in width could cause the side wall of your tires to stretch a little. Tuners for drift cars stretch their tires by putting a smaller width tire than is recommended for the wheel. That’s what gives the tires that “stretched” look. That being said, that is not what you want in the truck mod world. But given it’s only any inch difference in width between the two wheels, and the fact the OEM Micheline's have a decent wall that sticks out slightly more than the rim itself. Theoretically you should be good with using the stock tires on the Warlord wheels.

In terms of offset. It depends on the look your going for for your truck. The more negative the offset (i.e. -1, -12 etc.) the more the rim will stick out from the truck. That can cause rubbing issues depending on the tire you choose. Here’s a link that explains offset.

In terms of the leveling kit, like Robert said, it does just that...levels it from factory rake. You’re need to lift your truck, whether it be a leveling kit or actual lift, will be determined by the offset of the wheels and tire size you choose.
