    Hey y'all,

New to the forum. I picked up a 2017 SR5 Crewmax last week. Initially, I started out planning to do a chrome delete and, as expected, I'm adding more items to my list of to-dos.

Here's my current approach. Please let me know if I'm headed down the wrong path on any of this.

    - Still looking at the chrome delete. Wanting to swap out with a 2019 TRD Pro grille. My backup plan is to purchase a 2018 or newer honeycomb grille from ebay. But thinking I'm leaning more to the 2019 TRD grille. Are the 2018, 2019 and 2020 TRD grilles all the same?

    - Headlights: Definitely want to get rid of the halogens. Looking at 2019 TRD Pro LED headlights with the black background. I'm thinking I will also need a harness from iHacker for the headlights.

    - Fog lights: Also want to swap them over. Will the iHacker harness help with switching them over or is a harness needed. I may go with a set of 2019 fog lights unless I'm able to keep my 2017 fog lights and just swap the bulbs (don't think I can do that).

    - Taillights (Brake lights and 3rd brake light): I'm thinking I can order from VLEDS. They seem to have a kit for the rear tail lights that allow for replacing with LED bulbs and a module to address the blinker. Also looking at getting some tag lights from them as well.

Very thankful for this forum and all the information it has to offer!

If I'm on the right path, please let me know. If I need to reconsider my approach, let me know as well...before I start ordering parts :spending:

    Thanks in advance!
    Heath

Still searching some posts and seems like Hottails is the way to go for upgrading taillights.

    Welcome from South Central Tennessee!

You are in the right forum, but maybe not the right area for your inquiries about headlight and fog light harnesses.

Look around the forum and you'll find a lot of discussions that are specific to your interest in modifications.

Nice introduction, and good luck with your new truck!

Oh, and post up some pictures...

Welcome from OKC! Grills differ a bit due to the safety sense sensors that were added. BTW, when you have time, plant a few money trees too, cuz this site will consume some cash.

    Alot of them
Many of us run the VLeds brake light conversion. @memario1214 can hook you up with those. They are known as the Hottails conversion. For the fog lights, the OEM led version isn't that great compared to aftermarket. I have an aftermarket bumper and I run 4 Diode Dynamic SS3 Pro's. There are many here that run the OEM led headlights. Yes, you will need the harness from @iHacker. He offers it in a couple of different configurations.
