Hey all! Just thought I'd say hello. I'm have a 2023 Tundra SR5 Double Cab, gas only. I want to upgrade to a crewmax (kids) limited trim (short wife - needs the 360 piano cam and object detection ). I am gonna go hybrid since I do a lot of town driving.
Any differences between the 2022 and 2023 as far as build quality or issues? Was anything changed?
    Thanks.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I would expect that the build quality was improved in the '23's, but I think thee biggest improvement was in the '24's.

The way Toyota approached its hybrid was for power boost, not city driving fuel economy. So if that's the reason you want the hybrid, you're wasting your money.

look for a 2023, or better yet a 2024 as they have been working the kinks out of the new model so the newer the better. No big differences in features, just adjustment/QC improvements from that first 2022 model redesign.

Thanks all! Yeah I ended up putting a deposit on a 2024 Hybrid Limited Crewmax. I want the hybrid for punch and, from what I understand, it does get improved mpg in town - since a lot my driving consists of that, I think I'll do better. While the nominal gain isn't much, since the darn denominator is so low (my regular gas model is getting 16), even a 2mpg boost is a 12% improvement
