New to the forum. This is my first Toyota. I have had it since Saturday and since it had 30 miles on it I have been getting pre-collision malfunction whenever I'm in traffic flashing on and off repeatedly. I read some more things in a forum post and wanted to know how common this was and if anybody is found the answer yet. This also affects my ability to use the cruise control on the highway. Anyway glad to be part of the form and hope I can get some feedback and maybe provide others in the future

    Welcome from SoCal sir :hattip:
First, good luck with the storm and hopefully everything turns out fine for you and your family:fingerscrossed:

Second, sorry to hear about your troubles with the sensors. I hope that doesn’t discourage you from Toyota’s in the future. Especially being your first one and all.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in. I don’t have sensors, but I don’t think it’s a common problem.

    Good luck

    Welcome to the party!!

Take pictures if you can and take it to dealer. They will be able to do all software updates and calibrations needed. Might have to leave it for a couple days. Out of all my Tundras, the Pre Collision is the only issue ive ever had. Dont let that sway your decision about the truck.

Welcome! Check out my thread on the TSS/PCS system issues I've been having. Started at 400 miles and finally corporate approved a replacement and I just got the new part installed. So far it's fixed the issues..... Good luck. Take it into your dealer, take pictures every time it happens showing the PCS is turned on but the dash light is on indicating that it's off, and call corporate and complain!
