I have seen an emphasis on trd sway bar installs on this site. My question is, would they still be necessary or am I able to put them on my lifted tundra with coilovers and devers?

Yep, you can install 'em on a lift. They're nice for the pavement princess but I prefer no sway bars for off road.

This X1000. Ditched my sway bar quite a while ago.

That was my thought as well, about off road. Articulation is needed off road a bit more.. and the sway goes away with the bars. Mine stays on road about 70% of the time, but when I go off road.. I go way off road.

You can always add those sway bars if you're on the road the vast majority of the time, then just take them off before heading out to do some wheelin'. That's my plan.

Yeah, a QD system would be ideal. It's something I'm planning on looking into when I get around to doing this upgrade, but wasn't holding my breath.
