I am in the market for a new truck. I have and will keep my old Tacoma, but need to upgrade to a Tundra.

I haven't read many good things about the new gen Tundras and keep hearing that are still having numerous issues.

Should I keep waiting for Toyota to fix the problems with the new gen or look into the last gen Tundras that seem to be bulletproof?

10,000 miles on my June build and not a single issue. Love the truck

I have owned two 2022 Tundras (the first one was totaled on a wreck).

Tundra #1 delivered beginning of April 2022. It was great overall, just recalls to deal with. However the auto stop/start was more rough than my new Tundra. Additionally, the drivers side window had a scraping sound when rolling down.

Tundra #2 delivered last Wednesday. Feels better built. Start stop is hardly noticeable, windows roll down without excess noise.

all anecdotal, but just my $.02

My May build Platinum is 98% issue free. The issues? Wireless charger doesn't work with Iphone 13 and the trim on the side doors falling off. Dealer ordered new ones and after replacing the passenger side they say the box for the drivers side one was empty. So guess now I'm driving around in half a Platinum! lol

As far as any more serious issues such as Turbos etc - its been perfect! Love the truck.

What are your sources of info regarding the new Tundra? Asking because I’m genuinely curious.

Bought my Limited Trd Off-Road non hybrid in feb, has 13,000mi on it… hasn’t been to the dealer other then recall notification, which none of them affected my truck. Couldn’t be happier with it.
