Hello everyone! I’ve lurked the past couple of months while playing the waiting game on my Tundra. So much info here, I’m glad I found you guys.

Finally took delivery of a ‘22 Tundra yesterday here in Minnesota. I’ve wanted a truck for years and excited I’m finally able to own one.

Glad to be here…time to head back down the rabbit hole of truck accessories.

Welcome from Maine! Very nice truck! I'm not a huge fan of red but I like this shade of red. Have fun with the mods

Only thing I told my dealer I didn’t want on the limited was Red! Go figures! It’s a really nice shade, I was very surprised when I put it next my wife’s red 2020 Highlander.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. First thing you need to get your hands on is a set of catalytic converter theft shields. Also go down to your local sheriffs office to get an I.D. decal set for each converter. A unique number gets etched into the converter by chemical reaction to aid law enforcement officials tie any stolen converters back to a specific vehicle for criminal prosecution. The converter ID pilot program is free for the top 15 converter theft targets in the state, and the Tundra is one of them. Oh, and if at all possible stay away from the Twin Cities. Nice looking truck. Congrats.

Thanks for the great advise. I have the cat-shield on my short list of immediate needs for the truck but wasn’t aware of that pilot program. The truck came with some ISR (I believe that’s what it’s called) related to registering the converter info but I haven’t had much time to dig into the truck sadly.

I live in Cottage Grove so hopefully that distance from the cities help. Sadly I work out here a lot so deterrence will be important.
