    Looking to build our Tundra
I'm looking to take it beyond the max.

The idea is to get rid of the existing turbos that I'm hearing that they are failing at a unusually quick rate. And replace them with something a little beefier and making the necessary modifications to do so. Is twin charging out of the question?

My intention is to get day-to-day higher efficiency but be able to lay down the power when needed.

I'm looking for a 4-6 inch lift option that I can install along with the necessary axles in order to fit the best fit for the lift mud and snow tires. I wouldn't be opposed to an air at suspension but I'm not as familiar

Is there a universal chart for oversized tire fitment with and without lifts?

Is there a practical way to significantly increase the Ability of the hybrid transmission system?

I'm currently an apprentice with a lot of personal repair experience, not so much custom fabrication, although I have plumbing and electrical experience I just haven't had the resources to do so.

I'm planning this build out completely and am in no hurry. I'm looking for 2025 before I start anything because this will be a strictly part time project. This will become our company vehicle for our training academy. It's going to be used in a lot of mud and dirt, snow and slush so I'm going to invest in some thick tread on my tires.

As far as paint goes. I want to use a clear Linke-X on the entire body protecting the orange or perl.

I'm willing to rebuild, so if you have one to sell, are or are aware of somone auctioning one off, please let me know.

I'll buy whatever I can whenever I can.

I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
    company vehicle = taxes.

Knock yourself out if you got the OK from the head huncho.

Get a hybrid limited barebones if you’re going to do this fuck shit though. Don’t listen to us poor nay sayers.

I must have missed the part about all the turbos failing everywhere . I also missed the part about beefier turbos aiding in efficiency if you have to drop in either a tune or higher flow injectors to keep the engine stoichiometric numbers correct .

Lol my turbos fail every other week. Some times they alternate. Don't yours?

The good news is you can pick up a bulk pack of turbos on sale at Costco from time to time.

Where did you get this information from? Where do you plan on a full rerouting of ALL THE PIPE? As it does not look like one could add bigger Turbos because of space. Or is it in your plans just to yank the engine out and redo the whole everything in there?

When you start this project please take lots of pictures and keep us posted. Sounds like a heck of a project and we all would just love to see such an undertaking!!!:) Can’t wait for the project to begin!!!!!:)

please don’t make us wait a whole year and a half for this to start??

Or is this just a bunch of

What Turbos do you plan on using? And where are they going to be mounted?

To think that you're gonna have a auto shop put on better/more efficient turbo setup than what a team of engineers at a major manufacturer spent years to come up with is rich.

What bridge do you live under?

Never heard of Linke X clear coating before, is this new? Or were you talking about Line X? I do not think they have a clear unless it is a new Canada thingy??

Is "Moehnke Training Academy" as fake as OP's knowledge of trucks, lifts, and Tundras in particular?

Troll thread-do not pass go, do not collect $200. Let die.

Hell @Moehnke Training Academy might as well add on a auto 4wd too while you're at it and share how thats done?? Oh Oh or better yet throw a doubler transfer case on there too so you can operate the front and rear drive axels independently and get lower crawl ratios??? Throw some portals on the wheel hubs too while you're at it? Anyone else want to see that??

    Looking to build our Tundra
well, i did not expect such a quick reply but then again i should have ahah,

    Where to start,

    i guess I'll introduce myself a little,

I'm starting a training academy up here in Canada. We are still early stage and as mentioned, this build won't be realized until at least 2025.

I've been hearing a lot about early turbo failing for it to not be known here so maybe it's not widespread. From what I'm hearing the salt of the north's heavy and long winters are devastating them, but I'm here to hear more and learn more. I do not claim to be an all-knowing being. I have studied as a mechanic and have a diploma in mechanics, electrical technology, and firefighting, I've also mostly completed a diploma in Heavey truck and trailer mechanics, but I was unable to continue due to a loss of income at the time and I ended up running out of time. I wouldn't call myself an engineer because I hate numbers and math in general (i suffer from dyscalculia, haha) but I have a knack for Mechanics and engineering concepts. Thus, I am here.

My thoughts are, that I like the truck, but what I want to do with it is to basically make a TRX or Raptor version of the TRD Pro.

The comments on efficiency were more slated around getting the maximum efficiency with a more powerful system rather than just cruising the numbers for sheer bragging. I don't live in Wonderland where more fuel and air means less consumption of fuel. but I don't need 1000 whp either. I DO want to increase the overall power across both the torque and HP.

Yes, Line-X offers a clear version.

Maybe it is a bit early for the aftermarket parts like lift kits and axels (heard they are problematic too but that's a first for me)
Are there any reliable upgrades to the Tundra yet? Or maybe i should be specifically asking for lift Kits or any after market performance kits
    OR
Are there any companies working on any?

No, we are not in Alberta, we are actually launching in New Brunswick. Our Google listing is inaccurate and somehow I messed something up so now they won't change it. I'm working on that, Thanks for the reminder. (Seriously, I had forgotten and will get back on it)

To the dude who didn't like the renders, okay, they are not real. That's the point. They are just early designs and will be replaced as we develop and have more updated renders to share publicly.

To the rest, Thanks for the laugh and feedback. I will share my progress transitioning from Ridgeline NART to Tundra GOAT

Good luck figuring out the engine control software. I’m pretty sure any turbo other than the OEM turbo will cause a trouble code and a limp mode (reduced power). Also the hybrid system software is another consideration…
