Hi everyone. First post so be gentle. I just bought a 2012 Tundra from CL, and admittedly, dont know a ton about these trucks. It seemed like a great deal so I jumped on it. The people selling it spoke little English, so I wasn't able to get much info about the lift kit specifically. Can anyone tell from the pictures how much lift it has? It came with the Fuel 20 inch wheels and 33x12.50r20 tires. The wheels are in OK condition. The tires are maybe 50% tread left. I feel like the tires are undersized for the lift, but im really not sure what to go with as a replacement. 35? 37? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome from Ohio.
The lift looks to be around a 6-in lift you could easily go 35s if it doesn't have a ton of offset.

agree...looks like 6"+ and can fit 35s. Some people fit 37s also.

Welcome @CapeTundra . Try to take a pic inside the wheel well on front and back, as well as a whole shot of the truck. I agree that the truck looks to be around a 6" or so. if possible, take a wheel off or even take a shot of the tires from the front of the truck to see how much it sticks out. (trying to find out how much offset your wheels have. Tundras are stock with +60 offset with some "specialty wheels" being +50 offset. Check out the search bar and forums in the menus to browse. You'll learn alot

Congrats but I hope for you it has a clean title. The are a lot of Russians in my area that just fix and flip trucks like these with rebuilt titles.

Try to sell those wheels and tires if possible and move to a 17 inch wheel with 37 or 35 inch tires. The truck will handle and drive much better.

I had thought about doing that, but it does drive pretty smooth as is. That 20 inch wheel looks small to me already wrapped in a 33 inch tire. I couldnt imagine what a 17 inch wheel and 37 inch tire would look like.

A lot of people run 17s with 35s or 37s. It saves weight and feels way better than 20s.
